abuseHe wasn’t offered minister until 1990. Grindalwald was defeated in 1945.

Yay! I really do love it! I am so looking forward to the battle. Sure you made some date mistakes with dates, but it’s cool!
Oh, throughout this you have numerous spelling mistakes, but this story was too good. I couldn’t afford to stop to correct them. You definitely have some though.

abuseI love this, as usual! Again, I am amazed by just how beautiful your writing style is, almost poetic. It's really lovely to read.

This chapter was horribly sad, but you managed that very well. Gellert's part was really heartbreaking, thinking that this would be what made him actually cross the line to evil, when he might have had a chance otherwise, with Albus.

The image of Albus in here, so broken, just makes my heart break. It's just how I'd imagine it, though.

Aberforth's anger is understandable, even if it, right now, is underjustified. But he can't know that. Very powerful last line there.

More soon please. And I'm REALLY looking forward to what you'll do with the "epic battle". Thanks for writing this!

abuseI'm teribly sorry I've been so slow in reviewing this, but I was away on vacation without a computer and only just got home again. I read it now though, and I loved it. As always, your writing is amazing, and I also love the way you get into all of their minds in such a believable way - even Gellert and Ariana. Very nice touch about her crush on Gellert. And her thoughts on Albus's love for her. Just beautiful. Looking forward to those coming updates!

abuseLovely. I especially liked your descriptions of all the emotions, particularly of Albus'. They felt very poignant and very genuine.

abuseYour Gellert is a devilishly irresistible character. And I loved the way you wove Fawkes' beginnings into your story!

abuseI like how this chapter turned out too! I thought you did a very nice job portraying Albus' young love.

Just a few recurrent typos I've noticed, going through the last few chapters. Like Albus' sister is Ariana, not Adriana. Maybe you could just have a quick check through :)

ch 4,
abuseOh! I really like the way you've taken JKR's statement that Gellert is basically Albus' "dark twin".

ch 3,
abuseYes, it was good to get a whole chapter of Albus, particularly one dealing with a subject as powerful as Ariana's attack. I like the way you portray Albus as being brilliant, but slightly out of touch with his emotions, just like many geniuses are (perhaps a less extreme version of the character in the old movie "Rain Man"?) Well done.

abuseGreat look into Albus and Gellert's childhoods; it develops their characters beautifully!
