What a fantastic story. We've only met Bela once this season and this fic made me feel rather sad for her. And Bobby is a great voice of reason, exasperation and warning here. Nice job!

Love the tiny bit of backstory you wrote for Bela here - like you, I'm still on the fence with her. A couple of episodes might be fun, half a season might not.

You captured her voice perfectly, and the idea of her having had this relationship with Bobby - a similar relationship to one Sam and Dean might have had with him - was intriguing.

Terrific writing as always!

Love gruff Bobby clearly defining where he stands re: the Winchesters and Bela's wiles failing to make an impact on him. I agree that Dean should stay angry at Bela for shooting Sam but alas, I get the feeling that Sam's injury will fall by the wayside in favor of a romance...sigh...I'd rather have a good old fashioned, straightforward adversarial storyline
