i really liked it because u described their parents so well. I will say one thing though, being a latina myself i can tell u that hispanic parents are rarely ok with their son being gay. But you interpreted them pretty well. So good job and keep going with this, can't wait till u update.

Okey-doo, constructive criticism time! I think both sets of parents came and went a little too quickly, it seemed like they were only there for a minute and then left right away, which is kind of weird...

Also, you said "ME and you father". It should be "Your father and I"

Hehe, I like this!! Possibly slightly unrealistic that everyones parents would turn up at the same time, but hey, this is fiction, so it doesnt really matter all that much, and its one hell of a great oppertunity for a great fanfic! And you seem to have definatly risen to the challenge.
I like how you opened the story- very nice setting up of where we are, whats happened (or slightly changed) since the end of the Rent film, and basically setting things up. You gotta pretty good writing style too- and having looked at your profile page, you also wrote 'Stars in the Sky', so yeah, youre a tallented writer!
I look forward to reading future chapters. Very intrigued about the next one- like DramaQueenMaureen, Im also rather interested to see what the Collins's make of Angel, and how Angel's parents react to her- do they know shes a queen? And if they do, how comfortable are they with it?
