Hey, I told you I'd review!

For just the first chapter, this is excellent. I really like the chant at the end. The Elites were the epitome of the honorable warriors, and you did a great job voicing it.

I really enjoyed the story. I joined this site in the interest of reading and writing Halo fiction, and as such expect satisfying stories. I enjoyed your use of the true names of the races and only noticed minor grammar errors. Great story. Could use a proofread.

The story was a great read. I like it. The prose at the end was a fitting touch.

Very well written however their were 200 ships at Joyous exaltation; 54 went to Onyx so that leaves 146 left and you said 100 were destroyed. That still leaves a sizeable amount of ships left 46 to be precise
