I just read your story. Great idea to make Bingley less ready to forgive Darcy for his interference. Maybe you would like one day to elaborate and make this a longer story. I always wondered why Bingley seems so spineless.

Excellent chapter on many levels! You've tied up ends [I'd forgotten about Jane's first letter with the paragraph about Mr. Darcy - nicely done here], the structure works [layers the story coming together, some subplots working out, others still to go] and the emotions of the characters are very well described and expressed.

Thanks for such a fun story! Now please get Lizzie and Darcy in the same room! Oh and Charles should find a way to forgive his friend too - :-)
