Great job, so funny and sweet and Sam being so concussed is just precious beyond words. I enjoyed this so much, this is the best example of Dean being the Awesomest Big Brother ever.

Well done and I would love to see the next day. You think Sam would pull his leg a little? Be embarrassed when he does remember the way back from the car and how sweet Dean was.

Loved the injection of humor throughout: “Dude, I saw you in Hamlet… I said entertain the thing, not put it to sleep.”

This just broke my heart. So sad: "It was getting to the point where it was almost impossible to see life anymore. When he was a kid, he had had so much hope. He had had a future. Now he had a dead family, dead friends, and Hell." Sam asking about whether their dad, him, and Dean were each dead was heart-wrenching and, I'm sure, really confusing for him.

And I loved the ending, Sam's trust in Dean, and how it all took on a deeper meaning: “You don’t need to, Sammy. I got everything under control. Just trust me.” “We’re okay?” “We’re okay.”

I can't believe it took me SO LONG to come across this story... What can I say, I LOVE it! I was laughing so hard at Sam asking all the same questions over and over again and then went from giggling like mad to trying to fight the lump in my throat when Sam asked, "Is Dad dead?". Awesome one-shot, wonderful description of how protective and caring Dean is, absolutely in-character and absolutely brilliant! Goes straight to my favourites!

Sam reminds me of my mom when she underwent a surgery that required anesthesia. Dude - you got the repeating questions spot on.

*shudders* Sorry had a flash back to a babysitting experience when I was 15. Poor Dean, I'd have throttled Sam long before they could get back to the car if I'd been in his shoes. Made me laugh.
