good story

Very nice vignettes. I particularly like Aunt Grace saying that Christina would be efficient at whatever she did and the deliberately monotonous rhythm of "Christina looks at the clock. It is almost eleven in the morning. She will make some tea."

This is a very interesting series of snippets, you really give a good insight to the mind of someone living through the first world war and waiting for her man. Also its very poignant knowing what we all now do how much was lost and would be lost again in ww2.

That was good.

People should definitely write more Flambards fanfiction. There is practically none. Maybe I will try.
