Ah, you updated this story! And oh jeeze... I'm not usually one for mushy Sasuke (I really enjoy when he's being bad-** AND getting the girl!) but... my god, he's so CUTE here. And tragic! And love-lorn! And unable to express it!

I have to think that it's probably a good thing that he realizes he can't just have Hinata on a silver platter-- and of course, I'm happy she had the nerves required to admit it!-- because now he can WORK for her. And now he can really realize her value, and the fact that she's something he has to really treasure before they can come together.

Oh Hinata. Oh Sasuke! I am really looking forward to seeing how it is that you're going to help these two into each other's arms. Even when they're causing each other pain, they're so damn... bizarrely right for one another, balancing each other out. Love it as always and I can't wait to see you continue!

OMFG, a cliffhanger? Really? Damn it. Come on, update. It's been over a month. This story is so interesting. I felt that this chapter made Hinata really realistic. Breaking up with someone that loves you will make you feel guilty and having people talk about it is even worse.

I like how you wrote Sakura in this chapter (and Kabuto in the chapters so far. So devious). It's nice to see the non-main characters in stories get treated like people, and not like 1D caricatures.

And poor Sasuke! He certainly has had a lousy day. I feel like this chapter has been structured as a turning point (or one of them), perhaps as the lowest? If so, hopefully things will go up for the two of them.

And best of all, Sasuke fangirls aren't clique ** like they are in most stories, Yay! It always makes me feel annoyed when writers push Ino and Sakura into those roles. The introduction of Naruto's character was nice, but it seemed as if that one little encounter with Hinata at the restaurant dismissed her feelings for him. he kind of disappeared after a while...
