Hmm... wonder what kind of wish would i make... I know that if i did not know about his role as a wish twister. I'd make such a huge dumbledore...

Alright. new project! Time to find a way subvert said chaotic effects via a properly worded wish!... this could take a while... This guy's pretty good at corrupt the wish.

:rant end:

I love it. I can say nothing more than this for fear of the traveler.

Interesting story :) Made me think for a bit.

There's a typo in the summary. TraDgedy instead of Tragedy.

Thanks for sharing this story with us :)

That was.. a masterpiece. The only way to describe it.
When I found this fic, I wasn't actually planning on reading it, as I'd never heard of 'The Traveler in Black' before, and wasn't sure if it would be worth my time. Now I'm glad I did.
You've gotten me interested i nit now; I think I need to go see what else you've written. :D Magnificent job, and that's the first time I've called any fic that, much less a one-shot. I really hope to see more fics like this in my reading career. :D
Take care and write tons more.

Very interesting take on logic vs. magic! I liked the ending, with Luna as a witch and Harry not a wizard but both accepting each other. Wish you'd had something about Draco though--I wonder what he would have wished for?

Interesting theory, i kind of like it. science and magic, two ways to achieve the same goal yet at the same time diametrically opposite, one based on logic and order and the other based on chaos. As the axiom states, "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic" This can be expanded to "Any sufficiently advanced society cannot be determined from the outside to be based on Science or on Magic, as both are an acceptable means to an end"

Just lovely. Other than Hermione and the Weasleys dying anyway. Just lovely.

Well dang it. I wished he had wished that Hermione and the Weasley'a didn't die but other then that I enjoyed the story.

Nice little story. Classic 'be careful for what you wish for'...which, from what I know, suits The Traveller in Black. Then again, I know about that what I read on Wiki...but I digress. It was a shame about Hermione, though...dying because of Ron's impulsiveness. Still, very nice overall.

* happy sigh *
That was immensely satisfying. Everything worked together beautifully, especially the "careful what you wish for" clause. Great job.

Sweet! Everyone seemed so deserving. Pity they never realized it.

what an excellent description of why one should be careful what one wishes for.

I truly enjoyed this - one of the very best short stories I have read in the last 44 years (since i learned how to read)

thanks for a thoughtful and entertaining story

Interesting story. But what happened to Hermione? "The last letter she would ever write" ... I'm worried here!

And Ron, too? Although it sounds like you make him into the Dark Lord Jeremy?

Nice idea to have Harry marry Luna and live 'happily ever after'.
