no ** mercy... no other story made me so ** angry... (well some did but thats just because they was **, not in a KILL sort of way.)

damn, im a big fan of xan&faith specily when hes got powers, (yes i read and loved your other story, "we could be heros".

i would have perfered a happier ending, still it fits more with the new xander. few more nudges, few more losses from the old crew. push him a little further, SNAP!

i love this chapter...

i like Tanya. she doesnt know the old xander, shes not a scoobie. and even though he scares the hell out of her some times she still trusts him... that proves even though he has anger control issues hes still a good person, and its still visible from the "outside"

dont get the bit about willows magic fire though... if the badguys set the fire to kill willow why is her magic in the flames? why would she make the fire that killed herself. or was that her last ditch payback? "so you killed me but you will never get out alive" deal?

You may have stopped this story but I just want to say it was the best of all your stories I have read. Damnit it made me cry still it really was a tearjerker, I mean with Xander, the last of the Scoobies, the boy who lost everything, the lost vampire, it was too much to see him break down. I know it is just a story that is why I want to say that you are a great writer to make a fictional character give me, a realistic person an emotional response

Well, Xander and his crew survived this time, but how long can even HE keep this up! Sooner or later, he is either going to surrender totally to the Rouge, or end up killing himself. And neither one will do the world any good.

Poor godling - just a tool, overconfident and too proud. In the classical tradition, he overextended himself because of hubris.

Well, it looks like Xander has FINALLY gotten some peace of mind! And what better way to celebrate, than with the halfbreed that he has come to love, a immortal who understands what it is like to live for so long (Methos, EAT YOUR HEART OUT!), and a vampire who has managed to earn Xanders respect. All in all, a VERY good day and night!

LOL! Its not often that I can say that I enjoy the banter between Spike and Xander, but this chapter was TOO MUCH! I was on the verge of rolling on the floor LAUGHING, it was soo good!
