To be a action oriented scene it's very well done ^^. Well narrated and described, but dynamic at the same time.

Cantabile is about to die isn't she? Damn, it seems like all the characters I want to live are dying or are most likely to die, and the characters I don't really care about lives on.

It's a necessary part of writing a story I guess. Oh, I wouldn't worry about the lack of reviews as well. TotA game is the previous generation and the anime ended last year. So, naturally reviews for the fandom overall are low. This is still the best story in this fandom in my opinion. I don't seem like the type of guy that cares too much, but I just wanted to say that.

I am excited to see the return of this story. I was hoping that it hadn't become another one of the lost or unfinished stories that become like so many other. A very emotional and beautifully written chapter. Very interested to see where you take the relationships with this in the next chapter.

Anyway, not a long chapter obviously, but it's enough to set up what looks to be rather interesting battle and cleared the air somewhat between Tear/Luke.

Too bad this chapter wasn't one of your best. I know you've come down with a bad case of Writer's Block, but this filler really just doesn't cut it.

The intro paragraph was well written but to me it seemed like you tried too hard to segueway into the meat of the chapter. Day breaking over the horizon is nice, but is a largely unnecessary description.

Also, this is more of a pet peeve than anything but I really can't stand the "trapped on a deserted island" thing. I've seen too many bad fanfics that throw the main characters onto a random island and then have them fall in love.

So yeah, it's great to see you're still around. Take your time and keep working on your great fic. I'm sure you'll come out of your funk.

This is definitely one of the most exciting fanfictions I have ever read. I have always wondered what would happen if Gelda Nebilim was involved with the main storyline. With new original characters and altered scenes, the story is heading towards its own direction. I love the interactions between the characters - you have captured their personalities well. Please continue this fanfiction until the end! Although Tales of the Abyss is an "old" game, it still remains one of my favorite videogames and reading this fanfic reminds me of how wonderful the game was...so, keep it up!

The cliffhangers, the quality this story shows in all parts (I say this because every weekend I do a "retrospective", reading it all again) always keep me at the edge of my seat.

Well, there were a couple of misused words and some awkward expressions in this chapter. However, I am sure that if you would just rework it a little and it should be fine. As those that are in this chapter are more or less just minor ones that did not seriously impede meaning.

Of course, we all hate writer's block, but at least we get through sometime. Naturally, you would want to take care of your life issues before fanfiction, since writing something like this is really leisure activity. Don't be too bothered with priorities and inacitvity, it's inevitable. It's life.

Anyway, I thought that this chapter was not bad at all. The descriptive elements and flow of the chapter did how up pretty well. Not to mention that the suspense did keep the chapter in a interesting mood all the way until the end. In other words, it's good enough for now. Just keep writing when you have the time.
