Fantastic! I wanted to jump right in there and hug Anko myself! You really did wonders with the emotional turmoil in this one. The denied need, the loss and longing. So well done. Wow...I got the exact same feeling when I read "people are strange". It's so...moving, for lack of better word. You have a way of catching the reader's attention from the beginning, and then keep it through the entire thing. And there's so much emotion in your fics. I really symphathize with Anko in this one, and it's hard to imagine just all that's she's been through. Kishimoto sure has a way of screwing up the lives of his characters. But hey, they wouldn't be half as interesting if they hadn't had troubling pasts, right? Anyway, I absolutely LOVED it, as always. Truly, your one-shots are pure gold. Keep up the fantastic work, girl! And take care!
