Your stories deserve many, many more reviews than you've received. You write beautifully, and even this story in particular was very bittersweet, somehow. I very much enjoyed it.

Wow, this was really good, well done! Very nicely written, it flowed easily and you really captured their relationship. Write some more!

You've an unexplainable talent when it comes to achieving the feat of wholly capturing the exact essence that defines any character (these two, 'specially ;)). The detail to description and thought was pleasantly arranged, never loosing pace and keeping a steady action of binding me into the writing, which itself is a gorgeous combination of expanding the 'game universe' while stabilizing your own, believable ideas within its frame.

(Though my Revenant Wings knowledge runs few and far between, just reading the two of them reflect on the consequences of Velis and Mydia, even with the few lines that descibed so, told me more depth and insight to them than RW's plot ever did.)

Mentions to certain members of the cast (in their roles of major, minor, Moogle, and Esper) were a nice addition, yet, in the end, it all goes to Balthier, Fran, and your definition of them. :)

This was so well written. The actions, the feelings, they all, like you say, fell into place.
