This chapter was just soo touching and dramatic!... i was on the verge of tears..

i'm a noob in classical music,
i was lucky to even chance upon Nodame Cantabile and your story.
Extremely touching...(shh don't blackmail me), but I experienced heart twangs and even cried at some parts of the story. Haiz!

You said that Beethoven and Nodame had special gifts of being able to see music in COLOURS.
I remember Discovery Channel having a documentary about such people ( can't remeber the title, unfortunately ^^)...prodigys and musical geniuses.
I believe they called such people Savants.

I loved the ending... there's a lovely bittersweet poignancy with promise of better things ahead. I'm glad they both came to some kind of compromise in their relationship, showing also some growth in their understanding of one another.

I did sense that in the last three chapters that your interest in this story was flagging. The first part to this final, I think, showed clearly your struggle to have this finished.
For me personally, as a writer, I tend to update quickly because I know that if I don't, I will lose interest and consequently not complete it. I think that it's admirable that you did attempt finish it in spite of your hectic schedule.

Overall, I have enjoyed this angst-filled story and hope to see more from you when you venture out next.

You do know, however, that this calls for a sequel (to be written sometime after the thesis paper and before never). I feel your pain with college. I did the whole thesis paper last year and this year I do the thesis body of work for my second major.
