i hope my comment is not yet late, since i only came across this now. anyway, i just want to say that i congratulate you for this story, it's hard to write fiction, and you got ed's sorrow right, it was so in character. and it's not too angsty. i'm just frustrated that MANY fanfiction readers are just too lazy too read long but well-written fanfics. gahd, they should read this.
