The story was good, though it seems like you used poetry lines because the sentences don't even reach the middle of the screen.

I have to admit that I was starting to think this story had been relegated to the bit-bucket.

The story still looks interesting, and I have to admit that Saffron's actions become more understandable when you think of what would happen if you "forced" a person to mature several years in a very short span of time.
