Nice start :). It's always nice to see pre-Column Natsuki and Shizuru and I'm intrigued to see where you're taking this.

I must admit I was a bit sad that Natsuki was so quick to accept that her "relationship" with Shizuru was pretty much one-sided. "I'm yours, not the other way around," Shizuru says, and Natsuki goes, "Good. Glad we cleared that up." (effectively) I mean, yeah, Natsuki's kinda emotionally constipated, but this is the bit where you're meant to confess that the feeling's mutual! How sad :(.

With regards to the exhibition match, I'm afraid that Natsuki's coming off as a bit of a brat. Arika and Nina were proud to earn their places at the head of the Corals and felt privileged to be part of the match, even if Nina had reservations about working with Arika. They resolved to work hard and put in a good showing in honour of their own efforts and the efforts of the graduating Pearls. Natsuki, however, is all dejected because she's going to be defeated in public and is resigned to being "pummelled". It kind of a sad attitude to have and I must admit I expected better of her :(.

I'm also a bit confused about the point of the bet. We know from Episode 16 that, as of Arika's era, no Coral had ever beaten a Pearl, so Mai and Natsuki are obviously going to lose. So, essentially, they just have to ... hang in there, for Natsuki to win a "favour"? The terms seem sort of intangible.

I think I'd prefer it if Shizuru won, though :). She could then ask for something completely unexpected, making Natsuki ashamed for assuming that Shizuru would try to force her to do something she's not ready for and hopefully cementing her trust in Shizuru.

Just my opinion though :D. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what actually happens :). Thank you for your efforts.

I find your story quite interesting,you dont find many fics that dare to pit Natsuki and Shizuru against each other and I can wait to see whats gonna happen. hope to see a lot of action as well as emotions.Are there gonna be any interaction with the characters as well? Wow two of my favorite Natshiz writers combined and what happens-> nothing short of a great fic I must say ^_^ I couldn't really pinpoint who wrote what exactly, but it did seem to me that Leebot wrote a majority of the fic only because of the wording and juxtaposition of certain scenes seem very reminscent of Lee's other fics. However both of your writing styles blend well, I didn't feel confused while reading this nor did anything feel out of place. I was really excited when I notice the main characters were young Kruger/Viola. Fics about young Kruger/Viola are few and far between. I like the plot and concept so far. I will definately be back. Kudos.
