| Zaz9-zaa0 2008-02-13 ch 5,  | abuseAh, such a treat it is, to read a Penelo-point-of-view that insinuates a purely platonic friendship to her and Larsa. (Course, given his age, that's completely understandable, but I'm one to frequent the Penelo/Vaan pairings now and then. ;)) Her response to the 'dead who are actually alive', in addition to her irritation at finding things out at the last minute was definitely believable; though, I can't help but awe and 'aww' over how well you displayed the roots, and progression, of her and Vaan's relationship. (It just makes my heart feel all the more fuzzier whenever I think of her and Vaan's little 'reuniting hug'! :D) |

I say I hate to admit it because I'm a diehard Ashe/Balthier shipper, and it's obviously not going in that direction. Still, well written. Even us opposing shippers will acknowlege good writing in other ships when we run across it (ok, some of us will). |

Though, I must admit, the former's contemplation on prison and prisoners was both insightful and loyal to his character. I found it very interesting how Ashe and Basch's thoughts were linked in consideration of Vossler, and how the implication of their feelings went written. ;) Though, how you incorporate all this into scenes from the game is, by far, an extremely interesting feat. Wonder what you've got in store for Vaan and Penelo? :) |

| a certain slant of light 2007-11-13 ch 2, | abuseFirst review! Oh joy, oh jubilations, oh heart that thrums with anticipations! (I... I don't know. Please don't ask. Please.) I enjoy both chapters, though the adoring Basch/Ashe shipper in me loves the second. Not just for obvious reasons, of course. I really like your portrayal of Basch, and his thoughts are very in character and nicely written. I hope something comes of them. Basch never seems to get his happy ending! I'll keep watching if you keep writing! M'gana |
