I am a fan of all your AkuRoku fics and I especially like this fic. I have mentioned it before in other reviews but I will say it again: I love the way you write Axel!

I hope you get a chance to update this fic again soon. I promise I will read it as soon as the new chapter comes out! (I feel so bad! I didn't even know a new chapter was out!)

That cat knows more about Roxas than Axel does. Then again it's much easier to talk to someone that will just sit there and blink at you without thinking too much about what you're telling them... Anyways, I feel really bad because I had to go back to reread Chapter Seven before reading eight; there's just too many of your story-lines running around in my head to keep track of them like I need to.

So this is the last review I'm sending tonight, and probably the first you'll read. Again(or firstly), it's good to hear you're in better spirits, and I hope wrting comes more easily now. Love and encouragment, waiting paitiently.

I like Jim, the throw in character. He's all right :) Roxas and the whole cat thing is highly amusing to me. Most certainly when Axel is being a good boy about it >:D That's just saucesome :)

I didn't read this until now, and I like this fic a lot. Axel is surprisingly sensible and grown-up, but I guess he became like that through lots of shit, when his 'you're not the only one who ran away' is any indication. And Roxas' story intrigues me! I hope we get to know more about it in the future. Not necessarily opening up to Axel, but... just getting to know the background story in some way.

*chuckle* I work at store that primarily sells birds and bird products but also dog and cat stuff. So the first thing I thought when Roxas was in the supermarket wondering why there were so many choices was "Because some of them are utter crap" and started to list why. And then I stopped because, well, I was talking in my mind to an imaginary character. :)

But anyway, nice interaction with the kitten. You have a really nice way of expressing Roxas's frustration and agitated state without a need for conversation or heavy actions. The impression I always get of him is a calm surface of water that's hiding a roiling, churning cauldron underneath. Like when you heat distilled water in the microwave and then drop a mineral in and it explodes everywhere. You should know it's coming but it still surprises you.

I love how reluctant Roxas is- how he says he's going to tell Axel 'so long and thanks for the ride', but just couldn't when the time came. Ah, I just love your Roxas all around ♥.

I also love the cat. I have a slightly odd love for that adorable cat. I want that cat and I don't even like animals.I also like Jim, whose just- acts very teenager-ish. Very real.

Moreover, Axel is very nonchalant but so obviously- not. It kind of seems, to me, that he's just putting up a front around Roxas when he is interested in some way. This is also just my interpretation, so! If I was wrong.

Yay, an update! I was pleased by the chapter due to my everlasting love for the kitten. That being said this chapter had a the feel of a filler, oui? I love your fic and I'd love to see more of it, what a great thing to come back to after a week of writing.

I'm not entirely sure how to react to this chapter, to be honest.
It was certainly wonderful to read... as usual, but it was more of a "filler" chapter save for one tiny bit of "growth" in the dynamics between Jim and Roxas, wasn't it?
I do admit it made me a bit more anxious as to what will happen next. Sometimes chapters that have no forward action (seemingly) or conflict/etc... blah blah blah (at least to the obvious degree as previously written, blah blah blah...) create more of an adrenaline build up in the inbetween times than if the reader is constantly shot with drama or info/growth/whatever-you-want-to-call-it... plot..(??).. not that this or any chapter in this story is or has been like that...er... damn. Not coming out the way I mean it to... *sigh*...

Least I stick my proverbial foot in my mouth further... I loved the chapter. It was delightful, if not somewhat more ...quiet (for lack of a better word)... than we've had in a while.

Then again... I might just be remembering things wrong. *snort* Old age and time aren't kind to some of us! LOLOL

I love the part where Roxas is paying the cashier. I've been living on my own now for a while in my own apartment and going to get groceries is always the same. It's a moment of a failed attempt to bother or even really care to be sociable when you're buying the most mundane things in the world. *sigh*

Oh, and I'm still eagerly waiting for a fist fight between Rox and Jim. I won't be disappointed if there won't be one, but I'm still sort of hopeful. A few weeks ago I was wondering about Axel's attitude towards the cat. He's jealous, right? Axel doesn't want to lose to a furball.

It's actually kind of funny reading about Roxas debating whether to just go or not.

Ah, you're killing me, stalling like this. God, I just want either Axel or Roxas to just snap already. "Axel exhaled a thin plume of smoke, lips quirking up in a tired smile when he noticed Roxas watching him." I love that sentence. Axelaxelaxel, I love him. If I try to think of just one word to describe him, I always end up calling him beautiful.
