This was well-written and enjoyable. I mean it. I think your writing is awesome.

Because I have to say, if I were Iruka, Kakashi and his fabulous tongue would have been out on his butt with a nice, heavy bookshelf broken over his head. I was reading this and shaking my head, chanting no, no, no under my breath.

I think I'm so vehement about it because one of my exes had a declawed cat (that had belonged to previous girlfriend, just to add to the insult) who preferred to ruin our belongings with her excrement rather than use the litter box. I won't go into all the details, but I ended up leaving him over it.

Poor Iruka... but Pakkun is right: it would have been worse if it had been a cat. For one, cats are much less sociable than dogs... and they shed considerably more. My cat is currently in the middle of spring shedding, and it's driving me crazy... -_-

Wow what an interesting and human look at Iruka and Pakkun! I really like how you portrayed Kakashi here I could see him being able to bond with his dog and understand him better than with other ppl :)

Amazing fic!

OH, am i the first!? Well, i have to say that is a REALLY good story. I loved it. The comparison of step parents and step children comes to mind. And the ending was purrfect (sorry, couldn't resist.)
