The diction, the metaphors, the allusions, all of it placed together in a wonderfully delectable poem. Simulacrum, though a spectacular choice of words, seemed a little lumpy to be placed at the end of those phrases but that 'lumpiness' helped convey the artificiality of what Rei had become. My hats off to you on an incredible poem. |
