I find myself lucky to go through the whole section and fianlly found this amazing touching fic. Optimus Prime's voice is quite hard to write and you're doing great job.

Wow. Just... wow. That was incredible... nice and long, too, providing about half an hour of wonderfulness. Some parts made me crack up (like trying to picture PeterCullenOptimusPrime saying "I am not ** you," for example), others were sad, and some just... wow. You captured Sam bang on, and your Optimus is admirable. Your take on Cybertronian culture is pretty cool (sorry, my brain is fizzled out from sheer amazement and "cool" is about as good as it's going to get right now XD), as is your movieverse spin on the Orion Pax-Optimus Prime situation.

To sum up... WOW. I'm going to go look at your profile in approximately 30 seconds, and if there are no other Transformers stories there I think it just might break my heart.

Bah-weep-ghrana-weep-ninny-bong! Heh, sorry, I've been looking for an excuse to use that. Anyway, this was a great story, very engaging and fun. I especially liked the dialog, you managed to covey the severity of the situation while maintaining the lighthearted fun/humor present in this particular Transformers universe. I'd was just like to say you did a wicked amazing job with this story, thank you for writing it ^_^

There are so few stories that focus on Sam's relationship with Optimus even though in the film (aside from Bumblebee) these two have some of the longest interactions. I like how Sam is so intimidated by Optimus at first but learns in his quirky little ways and your superbly written interactions how to be a stronger person. Every time I come back to reread this I enjoy it...thanks so much for writing it.

This is a wonderfully done story.

I've read quite a bit of Transformers fanfiction over the last couple of weeks (perhaps a bit obsessively), from the truly deep to goofy brain-candy. You've really hit on something special here, whether you realize it or not. Your characterization is wonderful, the story moves steadily, and there are no gimmicks or silly plot devices to keep things moving. Not only did I enjoy this, but I appreciated the skill it took to produce it. Thank you for sharing this, and I look forward to reading more of your work.

That's a really beautiful story. Sam did roll well on his first gather information check. :) I liked the theme of inclusion/exclusion and how we remember the dead.
