I pity Sai. As much as I wanted to believe that it's not true, I guess how Sakura and Naruto would treat Sai would be like how they treated him in your story. I love the story - it makes my heart wrench since I'm such a softy.

It's sad, how Sai never mentions this. I wonder if he stays with them after they get Sasuke. I haven't read that far into the manga, so I'm completely clueless. XD
