I thought that it was wierd that Sara called their dog "Hank" in the episode, when we already know & have seen their dog Bruno. I thought that it might have been some kind of code between Gil & Sara for something else...It also made no sense that they would name anything Hank, eapecially after Sara's fiasco & Grissom's jealousy with Hank Pedigrew. |

Thank you thank you thank you thank you for writing this. I needed it, especially since the writers are being so iffy and I loved the Nick-Sara friendship more than anything. They needed something like this to be written. Greg, as much as we love him, can't get that sentimental. Warrick's a bit more detached so we can't trust him-he hasn't had a traumatic experience. Catherine would really have been a bad choice, so I love you for Nick. :D The phone conversation was PERFECT. And oh how we wanted Sara to go with him, be a PRIME example for WaT Jack/Sam but alas, it could not work but this fic did nicely and I hope you write more based on this episode crossover thing. |

The whole story was so tightly written, it felt like every word needed to be there, there was nothing superfluous. That makes the experience of reading it so much more intense and explains how I'm crying and smiling at the same time. You've captured that bittersweet feeling that we're all feeling at this time - the happiness of knowing Grissom and Sara are together and in love, and the sadness of knowing Sara is leaving and there's nothing we can do about it. I loved the little touches of humour in there too. |
