Joe's girl 11/13/07 . chapter 1Wonderful story. I have thought alot about Bill being alive only because Karen fired him and what his feelings must be in the days and weeks after that but I haven't been able to come up with a decent storyline for it. You have done it so well. You displayed their emotions beautifully. It was a pleasure to watch the story unfold. From beginning to end it held a certain hope for their reconciliation but a nagging fear that the guilt Bill felt about Milo's death might, in fact, derail their whole relationship. Of course, I love that they got back together in the end. Well written and so enjoyable. Thanks for posting. |
Macadamia Nutcase 11/12/07 . chapter 1This is really wonderful. Your take on the aftermath of Milo's death, Bill's guilt and Karen's confusion was fantastic. It's something I had wondered about and I really like the way you dealt with it. The way you've written Bill, Karen and Elizabeth's characters feels very real too. Great work! |
Old Bean 11/12/07 . chapter 1Beautiful story! Very touching and well written. Also very true to the characters. |

SG1Bauer 11/10/07 . chapter 1That was a really clever idea for a story. I never stopped to think about the fact that if Bill hadn't been fired, he probably would have died. Very nice story! |
take5 11/10/07 . chapter 1I have read this story before on livejournal and I am so *incredibly* happy you posted here. This is one of my favourite BK stories! Its such a great take on what could have happened after Day 6 and its nice that you touched on the fact that had Karen not fired Bill he would have died. It was touching and sweet and the end when she asked him where he learned to fly a helicopter was priceless. Thank you! |

Palmer4President 11/10/07 . chapter 1Wow, what a powerful story with so many emotions! This was fantastic! You kept Bill and Karen so in character, and you gave them a depth that isn't easy to accomplish (as a fellow writer, I can attest to the fact that character development is often easier said than done, and you do this much better than I could ever hope to). I loved every minute of it, and I hope you continue to write Bill and Karen stories! |
Tigerlily Brown 11/10/07 . chapter 1I love this story! I already read it on livejournal... |
