This is even more overdue than my last review, seeing as that was a while ago. If I had the time I would have reviewed each chapter as loyally as you did to Guardians of Aura. This story is really coming along greatly and your writing style has improved tremendesly. I really hope you continue writing this. Also in case you're interested, if you remember one of your critisicms of Guardians of Aura was its slight resemblence to Star Wars. Ironically I am now writing a Star Wars fanfic and I would be honored if you would take time to read it.

Well, this is far overdue. I have finally returned your favor. I must say that your writing is somewhat different from what I expected. In some ways you way of narration is more juvenile than your reviews and yet this adds a light-heartedness to it that my writing has often been lacking in. Your brief reference to homosexuality was definiately less sublte than I would have written for example. Your decision to have Ash and Misty's love flower this early in the story worries me in that it's uncertain as to how they can grow any more throughout the story but I think you can handel that. I am also afraid that I must agree with one of your more abbrasive critics in that placing author's notes in the middle of the story is, as Christine Bale would put it, "f**king distracting." I am also compelled to point out that I don't think Ash would even know about the Apollo 13 or how to put its name into such clever use. The battle sequences do seem to be more similar to a video game than to a book but that seems intentional. All in all this is a very fun, exciting and romantic story so far. I will keep reading with eagerness.

The fact that Ash is able to turn into a Pokemon is making Misty unnerved confuses me. If he was actually a pokemon, I'd understand, but be condensending of her worries; I see no reason to be disgusted at inter-species love. As it is, there's no reason I can see to think it's "wrong".

Really? The five pointed shape of Fire Blast is the kanji for fire? That is awesome.

Victoria's an interesting character. But I correct her! Having a relationship = having a life. I have no life. Quite an interesting chapter actually, and a fitting draw. Nice battle, less linear.

The TtFaF scene makes sense. Pretty awesome song, though I lack a vast interest in much other than VG music, mainly Pokemon. I also lack Guitar Hero I. Rex is ownage. I now like Tyranitar.

Sorry, not a Gundam fan. Pretty sure we don't get it here in the UK anyway. Besides, I prefer Battletech style American mechs to Japanese style anime mecha.

Hmm. The odd mix of Game and Anime doesn't seem to feel right. "PP" for example: I feel it's just a way of limiting the player's use of OHKO moves etc. And exp/ev's... Ah well.

You seem to be keeping the characters in character, something surprisingly rare in fanfiction. Especially Brock...

Okay, more plot, good. BUT, you don't know how cliche the "Ash=Jolteon-morph" thing is. Just don't make Misty a Vaporeon. It'll burn my eyes. Still, same drill as always: if you make it good, it doesn't matter.

There are indeed, many references. But I am willing to bet I won't find half, and you've written the next chapter, so...

Okay, sure. First, the battles could be more dynamic, and less turn-based. It could flow slightly better. However, the interaction and characterisation is pretty decent, certainly better than most.

Hmmph. I hate the early incarnation of Gary. He's so much better as a trainer later on, when the testosterone's worn off. He even beat Ash immediately after he'd beaten the Frontier. Anyway, this brings up an interesting point: how do we know what gender the Pokemon are? D/P sprites dictate that Pikachu is male, but the games differ heavily from the anime, and that from the manga. I see Umbreon as female. I don't watch the anime much, so even if they did occasionally refer to the Pokemon as something other than 'it', then I wouldn't know...

Giovanni. Hardly surprising. Black=Rockets. But those guys are arrogant enough to paint red 'R's everywhere on their stuff, you know. Aqua and Magma are even worse. That little island south of Mauville in Emerald. Yeah.

But hey, Rockets are the best. They are THE Pokemon villains, really.

I would have has Ash beat Blaziken guy, too. Charizard should have pwned his **, despite Ash's bad training and Blaziken's skill. No Blaziken could beat a Charizard that easily.

You've pulled off Ash (and co) quite well, actually, though I can't see him ever saying 'touche'.

Ash doesn't seem to be particularly dense, but I like Alex. How astute of him to notice Pikachu's strength.
