I can't really vote on it fairly because the only story I'm reading of yours is "Viral" and I -know- I don't want it to be deleted. So I'm incredibly biased towards it and its survival. I don't know anything about the other three stories.

Don't delete 'Viral', please? I like it lots. It did have a bit of a bumpy start, but it's really getting good and there are so few .HACK stories that -really- grab my attention... I hope you continue with it.

I had always thought Ovan was Balmung. I mean he fit the profile and Yata was Wiseman. I'm surprised you didn't put that in. Since Yata=Wiseman wouldn't he recognize Kite?

Awesome story so far, adding that 'dark' Haseo will certainly make things more interesting. Looks like he got all of Sora's attitude from back in .hack//sign.
As for what characters to bring back in, maybe some of the ones from the 4 volume games, Balmung being one of the favorites, heck, maybe even Mia. Bringing back Bear and Mimiru from the tv series would be fun too (and probably a sense of Dejavu for poor Kite, since Mimiru and Blackrose do act pretty similar). Still, you have a lot of room to move in, so just about anything could work out well ;)
I'd assume that at some point later on Haseo and Kite will meet up and join forces. Maybe you can put in some big epic battle, maybe having Haseo go mad for a while and fighting Kite in avatar mode (old school style) and Kite getting his twilight bracelet back... Oh so many possibilities.
Keep up the good work, and yes, school rules can be stupid and unfounded. That was probably the result of a teacher having nothing to do on afternoon and deciding "i'll make a bunch of new rules just to keep the kids doing chores" or some other nonsense.
