I am happily reading m way through all of the HH stories but this one particularly struck a chord and deserves commenting.

i love tortured booth. i mean, i love booth regardless, but his past and his pain over being a sniper gets me EVERY time. and i love the simplicity of this one, and how little she spoke.

I swore up and down that I had reviewed this but then I got to second guessing myself and I returned after the last Holiday and found that lo and behold, I had not. So sowwy.

Anywhoo... I really loved the set-up with this. Nice idea about having a Boothcomfort scene on this day.

Only three words left his lips. “Come with me.” Begging with his eyes for her not to question him, just for once. After studying him for just a moment, she answered his unspoken plea by simply nodding and grabbing her jacket, following him out the door. And, silently, he thanked God for her.

I really liked that. For once, she shut her mouth and didn't question him. LOL. Seriously though, it was a very touching picture, him broken and her seeing that.

Oh this is my favorite installment of this series of fics so far. Even though it's only my second.. I love dark!Booth. Call it what you want, maybe it stems from Angel or Buffy, but there is nothing hotter to me than angsty, dark, pained Booth, and of course, add to that the comforting Brennan, and it's the perfect recipe. I love this, you guys!!

Oh, and Kinsey - I'm going to go read & review your stories after I read Thanksgiving :) Thanks for adding me to your Alerts, Favorites, etc. :) I've done the same with SSJL (yes you Jamie ;)) and for this one, and when I review the first of your stories, I'm going to add you to mine as well - I just have to get there first :P

As much as I love smut - and you both write smut wonderfully of course, I do like filler chapters, and relationship/plot development. So no hard feelings from me ever in any story :)

Although I was looking forward to some good old-fashioned dirty smut, I really liked this chapter. It showed how much they care for each other and how much they need each other. Also, great insight into Booth's past. The 'Soldier on the Grave' scene is one of my favorites, so that's probably why I loved this. I'm counting the days until Thanksgiving! -Amy

YAY! Bless you guys for actually using Veteran's day for a new chapter! Did I say "YAYY!" yet? Now I can be a little more patient for Thanksgiving : ) Just as great as the first one, even with no smut (no complaints here) ; )
