Wow. This is amazing!

I think it is very realistic, how they are growing their relationship slowly, tiptoeing around each other, slowly opening up, learning how to communicate.
It is beautiful and interesting to watch this journey, instead of everything magically being perfect.
There were also numerous insightful observations about the characters and their relationships, you really know how to get in their heads.

I have to be honest my favorite character is Christina. ;op I hope she has more moments with Mark. They make a great pairing i hope it is not crack soon and becomes cannon. ;op UPDATE SOON! HAPPY NEW YEAR.

I love this story. Can't wait for the next update.

Yet again another beautifully written chapter...Again you seem to be miles ahead of the show regarding the characters of Mark and Christina, I sometimes feel that the character of Mark is just a prop to develop all the rest of the other characters in the show, and he only ever seems to be on some sort of superficial level. I believe there is so much more to Mark and you are proving this with this fic. I can almost see a (what would it be) Mastina hook-up, they are so alike..but I think they would compliment each other, Mark would see Christina for what she is and vice-versa but in a good way...anyhow Christina could have some good Mcsteamy sex...clear those old Burke cobwebs...and wasn't it Christina who said in Season 2'He's doing it to turn me on'...As for the rest of your chapter...Mer/Der just PERFECT.

So much love for this chapter, I may not be able to articulate all my thought which will probably lead to a second review in LJ

First of all, Cristina: I love where you are taking this because it’s one of the points in my wish list for S5 (I have it in my head, not written down or anything, I haven’t lost it, I swear) even when I know, probably from experience, that I won’t get what I want (I think if we made a ranking this show would be at the top as the one who continually misses digging into storylines that are there *right before its eyes*). Because I truly honestly believe Cristina needs to react just like this to Meredith and Derek’s newly found relationship (or in this case continuation of their much improved original s&m). Not only because she is a cynic at heart but because she has been there, so close to having the fairytale (Cristina’s version of it of course) and she lost it and we know she is not over that and probably won’t be for a long time, no mater how many sparkle pagers she finds in her way, add to that the fact that she has seen her friend getting hurt, multiple times, and the cherry on top being that she doesn’t like Derek, never has and hopefully never will (I have always loved that). I loved that Cristina didn’t snap at Derek in the scrub room but she is definitely pondering over the subject, can’t wait to see where that goes.

Mark: I like Mark. Even when he is saying things that make me want to strangle him. Because he is honest and straightforward (ala Alex) so I can’t really hold his actions against him most of the time, but your Mark is light years away from the one in the show, and I hope he is just like “this one” some day. I love that he can be friends with Derek bust still call him on his **, I love that he sees right through his crap and his pretty speeches and his lavender scented tiki torches but is still somehow walking on egg shells because their friendship is still so very fragile.

Am I the only who thinks Mark and Cris would make a good pairing? When I wrote my first fic 1 ½ ago I put them together and had a blast writing them. Yes? No?

Meredith and Derek: Cuteness, banter, sexiness, conversation. What more can a girl ask for? That last part with them at the ferry was so wonderful to read, so interesting and informative. Great Expectations was a great pick and you probably already know this but it’s Patrick’s favorite novel :) I especially loved the last line “I am growing”, because it fills my shipper heart with hope since just like Meredith I feel like I can believe him too.

Wonderful as always, your chapters are always worth the wait and more, never apologize for how long it takes you to do this because just by reading it anyone can tell how much work you put in it.

I love how Meredith is making some efforts to be closer to Lexie.

And you Derek is exactly the Derek I love, the Derek from season 1,, you made a fantastic job at writing his character!!

Oh, good. Love this. Cristina being so painfully Cristina was great, and MerDer is love, as always. I liked using Great Expectations as a metaphor (despite the fact that I've never read it, it seemed to make sense). Overall good chapter.

I feel like I am constantly repeating myself, but you really do a wonderful job with this. All of your characters are dead on, and you move them along in very realistic ways. As much as I love your Meredith and Derek, I do really look forward to reading your Cristina. Yes, you've softened her a bit, but I think it works. I loved her concern that Meredith isn't simple, though she might try to be for Derek.

I also loved the discussion about "Great Expectations." I haven't read the novel in forever, but I loved how you made it mean something else (and made the patient mean something too). Impeccable. I can't wait for more, but take your time! It's always worth the wait!

That was awesome. He is growing and she is growing and they are growing together. I'm also really enjoying Cristina and Mark. Great job.

I love that Derek's growing, it's really struck me as something he's needed to do. The conversation on the ferryboat was just beautiful, and your Mark & Cristina interaction is definitely intriguing. Lovely chapter, looking forward to seeing where this goes next!
