I'm guessing that whatever happened to Jack is also what happened to the people that are laying in the hut in the village, and one of them was the one that pushed Jack into the fountain/water, and all the other things that Jack accused Sam of doing. Will be very interesting to read what happened to him/them and how he gets back into his body and is alive again.
