This story was great!I red all three of them and it's clearly seen that you put a loooooot of effrot into them. Everything is pointed out so perfectly that you can easely believe that that's the way things relly happened.I just love it:)10 out of 10:)

What a wonderful conclusion! I actually liked Soul Possession, even if it wasn't a happily ever after or even a hinted at happily ever after, because of the hilarious one-liners. But, your ending is so much more satisfying. I especially love these lines.

"I did." Xena raised an eyebrow. "A religious experience, huh?"

"Well, you kissed a god. In a temple."

"Somehow, I think that making out in a temple is not what people have in mind when they think of a religious experience."

Ares smirked at her. "Obviously, they never made out with me."

Wow! I am absolutely blown away. I have just spend the majority of the day reading the Joining Trilogy and I can't believe I never found this before. It was amazing. I love the characterizations and I am thrilled by the way you weaved a completely believable romance between Ares and Xena. (Okay, the teddy bear was a bit of a stretch, but my inner fangirl just ate it up! lol) I love how you encorporated the last half season of Xena and managed to give us a more fullfilling (and happier) ending than the show. Alright, I'm gushing, but that was truly fantastic! Great work!

Wonderful series, really had me sighing. I love well-written futuristic Xena and Ares, and I love the fact that the whole series pick off after all those episodes of Xena never really giving Ares a chance.. I never saw the 6th season in protest of how they handled their relationship and poor Ares. Thank you so much for making me believe again.

Hi there, I first read your wonderful stories a while back on and have been in love with your writing ever since. I was so glad to find this story, part 3 of the joining and I haven't been disapointed! it is just a brilliant as the first two my eyes have been locked to the screen since I found it! I love how you've taken the whole story to the present time, and built up the reincarnations of xena and gabrielle with their own lives, and how they are both so like them in the way they think and act, and then how they've discovered who they really are. And let me guess...artie is joxer right? XD well I hope you post more soon, I'm dieing to find out what happens, surely xena and ares have got to get back together now she knows who she is! please update soon!

A slow, snowy day at work thankfully gave me the time to get around to reading this. And I'm glad that it did, really, because there is a certain ease to your writing reads that I envy.

One thing did stand out to me though, especially in part one, that I have never noticed in your writing before: there are tons of dashes. It brought Emily Dickinson to mind, and I think that you use them the same way that she does. But for grammatical variety, there are plenty of places where you could use an ellipsis or parentheses. It's very readable either way, it just seemed to me like an odd style shift as compared to what I've read from you before.

I'll keep an eye peeled for part three.

And the little vivid details! Verdi, the impossibly long death sequences, the painfully abrupt real death, the inhumanly efficient TA...
