Oh my God! That really choked me up, and it takes a lot to choke me up. Really, it was perfect angst. As horrible as it is to imagine Dean like that-dead yet alive-you handled it beautifully. It was so well written. Amazing job.

wow. angsty, but good. i hope sam isn't starting to alienate himself from dean. it's hard yes, and there may be no point but that's no reason to stop visiting him! then there'd truly be no point; it's still his brother, and dean would never abandon him.
