You had me going when the team found the body in the black jacket but it read like an episode with the next chapter coming in with the earlier storyline.

Son of a bitch. You know, I really wanted to enjoy the story. And I WAS enjoying it. That is, until rescue came and Lorne said "Yessir." to Ronon. What the fuck? Is this some sort of alternate universe in which Lorne is subordinate to Ronon? Lorne should have been in command of the rescue unit. Not Teyla or Ronon. Is the chain of command in Atlantis non-existent now? Damn it. This story is so well-written but details like that just make me want to stop reading. I'm sorry. I really don't mean to offend you.

I read this story just before it was completed. I could not wait on the last chapter, having read it all that day. Such a fantastic read! You could feel the urgency of the search and the need in Sheppard to carry on.
