Awesomely dark and morbid story

The end is so sad! You really have a a way to convey emotions. You're really talented.

Utterly fascinating; a pity it's out of date (although, since it's AU, it doesn't really matter then).

Good idea, put me in mind to write an itachi-centric fic though where he does try to kill the clan like in canon and fails.

This deserves so many more reviews than it got. I think everyone on must be stupid beyond compare not to read this.
First off, I love all the scenes with Uchiha Madara and Shisui. I never would have thought of tying Shishui into it; I feel like it really captured his relationship with Itachi.
Speaking of Itachi--he was just great. I wonder, what would have happened if Madara HADN'T come in contact with him? Well, sure, we all know that Itachi's just a tricky little bastard, but still...this fic really brings his personality as it is into question; especially his relationship with Sasuke.
Which reminds me: that was one of my favorite parts. How Sasuke kept coming back--haunting him, almost.
The end was perfect--how Itachi got a sort of closure and maybe peace, as well as the reader. You tied it together nicely, too--it was easier to follow than most fics containing a lot of flashbacks. (Well, I assume that's what they were. Correct me if I'm wrong.)
Overall, this is a beauitful piece, and deserves a thousand reviews for the introspective and pure genius that has gone into it. :D

Oh my god, that stuff about Mandara and Orochimaru and the body switching could be so true! This story is so sad. Sasuke dies! I love your stories, they are all so moving in different ways! I can't wait to read more that you write!

Words cannot describe how good this was. Honestly, you should be a published author by now. The way you write is incredible and appealing. I would seriously consider, if I were you, writing something original and trying to get it published. You're style and way with words are simply stunning.
