This fiction is really well-written. Pretty short, but very touching and is acceptable to the real storyline. I mean, it's not 'fantasizing' like most Conan x Ai or Shinichi x Shiho fics are; a sad reality as I'm a great fan of this pairing. Please write more about them, I'm sure I'm going to love it.

Well, it was short but elaborated, and accurate to their relationship in canon.

My favorite passage? When Ai discover the human beeing hidden behind the arrogant face of the detective(I prefer the human Shinichi, with flaws and weakness, to the flawless gary stu version of him).

And the way you have described the evolution of their relationship and their mutual discovery? It was very sweet.

So was the ending, a good way to formulate this classical dilemna.

In few words, classical but well written and touching.

So, they chose not to eat the antidote.

For, separately they did not have a past.

But together, they had future.

great story again! I loved that part when you wrote: Every day became a new adventure, a new page of discovery, a new step in their investigations. They were no longer suffering. They were no longer surviving. They were living life, enjoying it to the fullest. Torture became tolerance but burdens soon became bliss.
