i love it

I loved it! It was so fun guessing who it might be... really makes you pay attention!! The emotional impact was well established. The way you wrote about the characters took my breathe away. Fabulous one-shot. *thumbs up*

You nearly fooled me at first, but about the third paragraph down, i was like, oh. Gellert and Dumbles? It was a really good one shot, and i havn't read many stories with a mention of the two, though i suppose i havn't looked much. anyway, good oneshot!

I really liked this piece. It was a nice look into both Snape and Dumbledore's mind, and you merged from one to the other very smoothly. Excellent work, especially considering it was written so late and as a distraction. Though, I wouldn't mind seeing how you fit ribosome in it.

Simply lovely. Almost hurt to read, so much empathy with your characters. A jewel of a one-shot making Dumbledore and Snape so very, very human. Thank you.

Perfect last line. The idea of Snape and Dumbledore, both ashamed, creeping through the hallways at night to stare at the Mirror of Erised is so great, and so in character. Who ever knew, until DH, that Dumbledore could be talking about himself when he said that many people had wasted away looking at that mirror (or something to that extent)? This is a wonderfully written story. :)

Lovely. I find a crying Dumbledore very poignant. And alluding to Gellert as Helen just strikes me, I suppose. Lovely idyllic imagery, lovely parallels, lovely essay I'm sure you turned in. ;)

So. Sev/Lily isn't one of my favorite ships. Actually, I'm pretty indifferent about it. And I'm pretty indifferent about Lily and Severus, for that matter, too. But I was STILL touched by this.

Which, incase you were confused, is a good thing! =P

You had Dumbledore very well, too, and I adored the ending. =)

A very good story, I enjoyed reading it. I feel sort of sad after reading it, though, that Albus Dumbledore hasn't ended up with Gellert Grindelwald at any point in your story. Which is another regret of Dumbledore's. I tell you, the Horcrux, Snape, and Dumbledore's haunting past, and regrets, were the factors that killed him. A very nice story, with a sweet touch at the end. Except that I feel sad for Dumbledore, now.
