loathlylady 2008-06-16 . chapter 1This is wonderful! You've linked to the real-world inspiration of the Nine Kingdoms, hinted at the different interpretations of the wolf's role in the Little Red Riding Hood story (i.e. wolf as sexual predator), left room for an interpretation of this wolf as much more than what they stories say, and done it all with considerable grace and style.
I'd love to see this continued, but understand if you won't undertake that considerable task. |
QueenOfHearts3 2008-03-07 . chapter 1Huff puff! Intriguing indeed, I must say. It's short, but richly detailed, with likeable characters and a sense of... the beginnings of a darker "Romeo & Juliet," I suppose (odd as that is, since the original is hardly full of sunshine and daisies). Your "Wolf" is particularly interesting- mysterious, funny, polite and obviously dangerous. Not all Wolves can be like our dear, deliciously spastic Warren, after all. Which brings to mind- will we be seeing the 10K cast here, or with this be an entirely separate story? Personally, I'm hoping for the former; it'd be great to see how they'd fare in your exceptional hands.
I should very much like to see more of this, and from you.

Hola-Meg-a-Cola 2007-11-23 . chapter 1Hmm, I can't see why your story hasn't been reviewed yet. It's certainly much better than some of the recent stories being written, and I like how you've researched the area and detailed some of your historical facts.
Overall, very good. Hope you won't abandon this just because some of the fanbrats on here haven't reviewed your story. |
