| Elektra101 2008-04-04 ch 1, | abuseDamn, you made me like Ecklie. For that you should have a prize. Bittersweet but still hopeful. I loved it. |
| anneruhland 2008-01-09 ch 1, | abuseWell written. I liked the way Ecklie reacted to the news and what he did with her personnel file. It would be so easy to make Ecklie all bad and so one dimentional. This story makes him much more well rounded and real. I think that you captured Grissom's reactions well also. How hard it must have been for him to have to deal with all the administrative details when the rug had just been pulled out from under him. thanks for a good story, anne |
| probysgirl 2007-12-28 ch 1, | abuseCoz we all know that Conrad Ecklie is a good man deep, deep, deep, deep, deep down! :p likin it! |
| Vega Dreamer 2007-11-26 ch 1, | abuseA b-e-a-utiful take on what happened after the epiosode. I think that it is very true to Grissom. He would defend Sara and probably respect more than anyone else what she did. I loved Ecklie for once. Thanks much for the story! |
| Malenkaya 2007-11-25 ch 1, | abuseI think "lovely" is the quintessential word I would use to describe pretty much everything you've written. Your characterization is always right on, and you always seem to strike the perfect note of heartfelt emotion-- so that it always comes off the page honestly without being forced or ridiculous. I loved that you gave Ecklie a heart without making him a sudden superhero (him musing over whether taking Grissom down a few pegs would have ever been enjoyable was perfect). |
| beastlet 2007-11-24 ch 1, | abuseThat was lovely. Bittersweet, sad, but also hopeful. |
| ajechi 2007-11-24 ch 1, | abuseWOW... Now that was great... If only the Ecklie here was true... Nice Story! |
| Juwist 2007-11-19 ch 1, | abusenice perspective, great writing! |
| rebirthfry 2007-11-18 ch 1, | abuseVery well done... Just the way it could go! |
| aussieforgood 2007-11-17 ch 1, | abuseYou made me sad all over again. That was beautiful. *sob* Is she back yet? |
| Forensic Nurse 2007-11-17 ch 1, | abuseI loved the silent toast! I can see Ecklie doing that. As always, this was well written. I hate seeing a heart broken Grissom. His gestures & comments were exactly how I would imagine he would react. Thanks for sharing! |
| jtbwriter 2007-11-17 ch 1, | abuseThank you-that was the act of a very human Ecklie...and the way you described Grissom...sigh...don't make me cry now! Thanks for another tug of the heart- |
| felena1971 2007-11-16 ch 1, | abuseIt's a rare occasion that I'm speechless. You're writing never ceases to amaze me in it's clarity and obvious passion for the characters you are writing about. I hope you had an amazing time walking the lines today, I'd love to hear about it sometime. I know it would never happen like this one the show because they don't have writers of your skill, which is a shame. |
| Kitoky 2007-11-16 ch 1, | abuseGah, if only the real Ecklie would do that. That would be wonderful. I'm not depressed that Sara left. Now, I can't wait until the day she comes back. Thank you for this piece. I hope you write others. |
| toothchick 2007-11-16 ch 1, | abuseWhen Gil said..."She waited 7 years for me" I melted! This was the most beautiful line--I hope Gil waits patiently for Sara's return. Ecklie has a heart...Who would have thought? THANK YOU, from the bottom of my heart for this story--it was AWESOME! |
