MARYLOVER 2007-11-26 . chapter 6Hey! what a sad thought dear Spirix
Ed here is the epitome of sacrifice, to the point of giving up his own self (life, mind, soul... past and heart).
Now I wonder... if Ed is fifteen when he's doing that (sacrificing himself in order to safe his brother from the Gate), and he had already experienced many more feelings than he had when he was eleven, then... will he give up those feelings too? without a single thought-back before making THE decision?
Uhm... okay okay, this is Ed and his goal was always giving preference to his brother over everything/one else.
sighs... poor Ed indeed... and good luck with your new given-life Al...

silkendreammaid 2007-11-26 . chapter 6How long has it been since I saw you last?
That unspoken promise as you left me.
I’ve lost count of the years, the time that’s passed.
I left such things with who I used to be.
I’ve looked for you. I’ve seen you everywhere.
Your eyes were in every whiskey I drank.
I tried, but I could never find you there.
I lost my way with every hope that sank.
Move on they tell me; that you’d want me to.
They’ve found ways to let you go, to forget.
I wish I knew if that was really true,
because I just can’t let you go, not yet.
Until I know that everything I try
Will never bring you back…until I die. |
 Bar-Ohki 2007-11-24 . chapter 5Yes they are 5 7 5, but these are fun anyways. |

MARYLOVER 2007-11-24 . chapter 5Spirix, you did it great here.
Talking about the fire itself, how does it feel everytime it's invoked? lighted?... does it feel used?
uhm... sensations are strange here as fire is energy. You don't feel what it feels, you feel the heat it brings to you and watch what it burns and destroy.
Now adding your poem to my previous thought, I don't feel what it feels, but if I set my soul on fire, I'm simply letting it to watch all it can burn. Yes, I can control it to burn only what I want, but now the fire knows my real me, and I'm sure it's eager to continue exploring my soul. Will it end controlling me in the end now that it felt my real feelings? my inner-self? my desires?
Will it end burning it all?
I keep wondering... Fire and feel...
You know I'm not a poet and make my mind spin with long sentences. That's all I can offer to you.
I'm on my way to the lab with my mom, I hope I could review your other poem later. Bye. |
silkendreammaid 2007-11-23 . chapter 5Eyes that look forward
reflected in silver steel…
I wanted always to stay.
We were never meant
to finish in this farewell…
what was mine to burn, you took. |
Mage of Dragons 2007-11-23 . chapter 6aww, poor ed is right! |

silkendreammaid 2007-11-22 . chapter 4Oh God, don’t let me wake too soon this time,
Not when he is here, where he should have been.
Don’t break this fantasy, this dream of mine.
Only here, that last regret is not seen.
In my arms, wrapped around your heated skin,
No words to hide behind, just you and me.
Gold and black, our eyes to deny the sin,
Flesh and steel, together we can be free
To know the touch of unrequited love,
To understand the glory that we missed.
And in the moments when you rise above
And we’re sealed within each other; your kiss
Claims me and I hear an ocean surge through
Always asking, do you know I love you? |
 MARYLOVER 2007-11-21 . chapter 3Laughing... I realized I hadn't reviewed this one yet...
