I definitely think this was a very sweet ending to Sara's story. I like that the thing holding her back was that she hadn't had the chance to truly confront her mother. I have a friend who won't be happy until she has the REAL truth out of someone, but I don't think that's what this story was about. Sara knows the truth of what happened - she just needed to confront her mother and tell her exactly what she thought.

I'm so happy to see Sara and Grissom together again! I can't wait to read more about their story. Why do I have a feeling that Sara will be the one to crack the case in Masquerade?

a great ending to a great story

I have to admit that I'm sad that your story has ended, it was one of the weekly updates I looked forward to.

I think this may have been the sweetest chapter yet and I loved how you ended Sara's Journey, and the ending *big grin*...I had a feeling it was going to end like that :D

Michelle/Michael, now that was an unexpected surprise, had me laughing for bit, I didn't see that coming...but I guess living in vegas Sara's used to those surprises :P

And if I were Sara that one thing she wanted to do when she got home would also be the only thing I'd want to do ;)

I'm surprised Hank didn't attack her as soon as she walked in, poor dog knew he was guilty for sleeping on the couch, lol.

And again, the ending was just awesome, what more could we ask for than a little geek smut to end a wonderful fic :D

I know I already said this to you but I'm gonna say it again, I can't wait for Masquerade...no pressure ;) Although I do have some questions in my mind about a few things and if they will be addressed in Masquerade or not...one of them I think you already know what it is and the other is just something I wonder about, I guess I'll see if they pop up there next week :D

Well anyway it's good to know that Sara has finally put her past behind her and is ready to go back to Grissom...so hopefully next will be the geek reunion? :D

Okay, so this was really interesting. You know that I love the "Sara forgives the abuser" theme. :-) I think that it really is the thing she needs to do to come to terms with the past and to lay her ghosts to rest. As we've said before, holding a grudge only hurts the holder. Not that I'm good at taking my own advice, but that's me, not Sara.

Anyway...

Laura's monologue as she opened up to Sara was very unexpected. Like Sara, I was thrown as she went from total denial of everything that had happened to total admission of the truth. ... Or, at least, her version of the truth. Are we going to find out what happened there for real? Or should I trust what Laura said about her past?

The part about kids was also interesting. Was it really Laura showing concern for Sara, or was it Laura playing mind games with her?

As usual, you've left me with more questions than answers! I can't wait for the next chapter.

I'm glad you're doing an epilogue, after reading an amazing chapter like the one I just read.

I am excited to to see how Sara confronting her Mother will play out. I know that it is going to be fantastic.

Now, on to business...

Nice use of the flashback, and of the tie-in between Laura and Natalie. Sara certainly has dealt with more than her share of crazy, and she's usually come out worse for it. It's a really interesting take on everything...I can't wait to see what you're going to do with it.

And, let me tell you, Michele about freaked me out with those nails! It took me back to your other story, and I immediately started tying her to the murder in that one...only to remember that I was thinking of WSL, not Masquerade. Oops! Hehe.

This was a great update...and now I REALLY can't wait for the next one!

Excellent chapter as usual, I loved how you added the flashback from Sara's kidnapping and wrote it in your own words.
