I mean, that line about the ode to the throw rug being unsettling...and Mozenrath's "I literally have nothing else to do" were both absolutely perfect. I died of laughter reading this. Great job.
Cantare 2008-04-06 ch 1,	abuseOh man. This was just nonstop laughs. I can't believe this. Wow. I think the only story that is comparable to this is the Nine Months Saga in the DBZ fandom...or maybe Zerosoul's all's fair in love and sorcery, also in the Aladdin fandom. Characterizations - perfect. Writing humor while keeping everyone in character is not that easy to do. Great job! And all the additional quirks you threw in for each character, like Carpet's keeping a journal (??) and writing a R or X-rated ode to a throw rug (!); Jasmine getting drunk and in bed with two servant girls (yeah, Al missed out there); Genie's hashish filled youth (loved that question he posed about his face by the way, LOL), and many more. I love how you swept the rug from under Mozenrath's cool persona (all other authors including myself tend to elevate him probably beyond what he deserves) and basically made him a total loser. I sadly haven't watched the Uncouthma episode, but once I do I'll probably like that part of your story a lot better. The way Genie defeated Mechanicles was quite an underhanded witty move. And on the actual drinkers themselves, excellent portrayal. Wow. The steady progression from hostile enemies to slightly buzzed to drunk to singing 70s songs together...so awesome. And of course the scene jumping back and forth from them to the action works for even more of a comical effect. I sincerely hope you'll write more in this fandom! Take care and congrats on an amazing story (though I'm late to review it).

Forestwater 2008-02-10 ch 1,	abusethis was very good. all the writing mechanics were there (spelling, grammar, etc.), and it was easy to read. the characters all seem to be in character, too, and with more depth than the disney movies managed to show. genie in particular was hilarious. :) all in all, this was a funny, enjoyable story.

DramaQueenABZ 2007-11-24 ch 1,	abuseBefore I begin I review I must say that I am COMPLETELY disappointed that I am not on your favorite authors list and that niether of my stories are on you favorite stories list. You make me very sad. Very sad indeed. As for your story it was hilarious! I was especially fond of the ode to Jasmine's throw rug part and then thing about Jafar getting drunk! Hilarious! I was also amazed that you remembered all of the names of those people (the villians i mean). I had some trouble remembering who they were but I eventually was able to rack th answers out of my brain.
VampireNaomi 2007-11-22 ch 1,	abuseThis was simply amazing and I had such great time reading this! Usually, I tell the author what my favourite lines where, but there were so many great moments in this that it's impossible. My favourite points include Iago telling what Jafar was like drunk, Aladdin and Razoul having those bonding moments, and the fact that Carpet was so intelligent and funny. In my opinion, this fic fits the definiton of a good humour fic down to a T. Everyone is perfectly in character despite the exaggerated stuff that goes on around them. Bravo! Do you mind if I add this to my Mechanikles C2 community? I know he wasn't a major character, but it's pretty difficult to find anything about him and this more than qualifies in my opinion.

Carpet really showed another side to himself, didn't he? Disney should take note...there's more to this piece of material than they give credit. Keep up your brilliant work...
