What an amazing story. You did such a good job at showing more to Zarbon's character, and digging deeper into his feelings. This is a good explanation on why he has a more humanoid form while in the presence of Frieza.

Frieza is an awful person so it's very believeable that he would call Zarbon ugly to his face. Him sizing Zarbon up at the end is so disgusting on Frieza's part, but it seems like something he would do. Good work with writing Frieza to be as horrible as he really is.

The description of the transformation is wonderful. You show just how painful it is as well as describe how all his organs have to shift so he can take on this new beautiful body. Nice work with selecting a title that fits the story so well.

Ya know, I've seen a couple of stories where it's mostly Frieza (or some random OC that no one cares about) teach Zarbon how to transform. I really like your take on this, because it's different from what I've seen.

Imaging the de-transformation actually grossed me out a bit. But, it can't be as bad for as it was for poor Zarbon. Again, really interesting take on how Zarbon's power came to be.

A shame he died on Namek.

All in all, I give you a "Job Well Done". Stick it onto your refrigerator.

I really liked it! I thought you looked at an angle that people don't usually attack, and really captured Zarbon's train of thought. It was pretty fantastic.

W-o-w. I really, really loved this. It's the best explanation of why Zarbon is able to transform that I've seen, and the emotions of Zarbon (wanting to please his Master, wanting to be beautiful for him) were very very crisp, clear and well portrayed.

Great job! (I don't read DBZ fic often but Zarbon is a character I love, and it's great to see him written so well for a change!)
