Very nice as always, I like the sexy distant cousin thing *grin*. That's a problem with Harry usually (in many fics and in canon), he doesn't get to have any simple fun (like a carnival, that's a great idea), but you've let him have it and that's nice. It's good to see him get a bit mature, and actually be able to speak to ladies he likes (instead of that horrible spluttering he tends to do), I hope he won't be so damn oblivious and not see what's right in front of him (obviously Hermoine has been doing some growing up as well).

Can't wait to read the future chapters. :-)

I've always thought that JKR seemed to have made up her mind about harry, Hermione and Ron in this book(#5). before they were friends, just that.

But IMHO she made a mistake in whom she paired up by the end.

I really like your story. Can't wait to see Harry in action once he gets back to Hogwarts. I like how you introduced new friends and hopefully make Harry realise that it is alrgiht to seek others out. He does not need to hang around Ron all the time. Or put up with a lot of mess from Ron just because he was his first friend. I already seeing how close this new Harry and Hermione will get because Harry will be taking more classes with her and also taking them more seriously. Are you going to make Dumbles manipulative or he is just making honest maistakes? Keep up the great work. Can't wait for the next chapter.

Very nice fic, it brings up lots of things that is just odd in canon, and makes solid solutions.

Don't have much else to say really, some refinement on Mr. Shaw perhaps, but that's not really needed at this point, just plain good in my opinion.

I'm really looking forward to reading what good/bad things happen in the future.

Perhaps Harry'll distance himself from Ron (I certainly hope so, I hate that git, anyway he'll be forced to if he's going to take his studies seriously. And I'd say he'll notice Wormtail on the map earlier this time), also I'd like to see Harry put Remus on the spot (I mean where the hell has he been? Not one visit in like 12 years? What kind of friend to his parents would do something like that? Sure Dumbledore probably said something about the greater good and safety, but still? At least a letter when he started Hogwarts? Oh! maybe that's it, Mail-wards.. Typical Dumbles if that's so).

Nice to finally see where all the rest are.

Sara's job as a likeable ACC was great and i hope to see her later on in the story as sort of a sorrogate sister to harry and I think to hermione as well.

I really like this story. I've always thought that Dumbledore was manipulative. One thing I don't like though is the cradle-robbing bookstore clerk. What kind of grown woman flirts with a CHILD like that?

Small spelling mistake:

"she probably did this sort of thing to all the mail customers"

Should be 'male' customers.
