This was well written and funny! I had trouble not laughing (it's almost 2am and a family member is sleeping 5 feet from me.) It was sweet too. Overall nice work.

I like this a lot. It has good dialogue and spot-on characterization. Love the discussion on the many complications of time travel.

I think that in a few years Wilbur will start to see the Cornelius in his own time as his friend. 'Cause, you know, they'll both be adults. That's what happened with me and my parents.

I always imagined that the name would be changed right away with the adoption in one easy swoop, but I like how you made it come later. And then when you go on about how he isn't with Franny yet, because I think that definatley came later. I love the way you write and what you write about, it's light hearted and funny in this situation. The father-son relationship next to the best friends relationship is perfectly done. Plus the noise Wilbur made with the cat and the piano thing... priceless.
