| Marebear007 2008-07-27 ch 5,  | abusethis is amazing! you've got the salesman down cold (although i recommend researching him a bit if you haven't because the man is so much more than just a hitman), and i really like cheri/cherry. plus, the reference to hades and persephone was wonderful, definitely connected to her situation...sorta. i also enjoy just reading. normally, i prefer convos to a lot of what seems to be never ending descriptons, but i actually believe cheri is a real sin city character when i read her. she's got that...attitude mixed with arrogant wisdom that they all have. over all, i like. the pomegranate thing confused me until now, but it makes all the more sense. also, must commend you for writing a salesman fic. i think yours is like one of two or three ever! | Max Knight 2008-03-10 ch 4, | abuseJust saw Sin City(the film) and started browsing for a fic of it and stumbled upon this one, which I might add is one of the good ones out there(I like a nice lengthly fic) instead of oneshots. I'm surprised you don't get any reviews. The story was really well scripted and it made me imagine the scene and picture it in my mind. Brilliantly written and I love the POV for Cherri you did. The suspense there was really a treat, especially Cherri's fear of the Salesman. Keep up the good work. |
