ah this story made me smile.

I loved it! I thought you characterized Mrs. Lovett very well- it made me feel very sorry for her. I love how well you showed her contempt for Lucy and Benjamin's love for Lucy. The best part was the last line. It was quite eerie and excellent foreshadowing.

Awesomeness. The contrast of the characters was great, and getting inside Mrs. Lovett's head-and the last line was quite chilling. I could totally see this happening; five stars

“Please don’t be unkind,” said Lucy, softly. “I wish you’d help me.”

“Hmph. Bet you do.”

I've read this story before and thoroughly enjoyed it. When I found out I didn't review it, I thought "Shame on me!" I love reading Pre-Sweeney fics, and you have depicted the couple's love so finely. Though I would think Mrs. Lovett would be a little nicer than that, you've written this quite well. Aww, Benjamin and Lucy are so sweet! Too bad those fifteen years in jail pretty much messed with their heads, aye? Good job on the story!

AW! Poor ! How romantic of our good ol' Benjamin. It was almost a comedy piece. I had to laugh at 's little attempts at making Lucy look bad. Bravo!

Sweet Nightmare

Last line is very cute. Mrs. Lovett seems a tad OOC- she's supposed to have been pining for Benjamin for awhile I think, possibly why she detests Lucy so much. Other than that I like it, and the Ben sewing line made me chuckle
