Wow, to of think Misa and Ryuzaki, being polar opposites, as a couple? That is something really strange, yet not entirely disagreeable. There are some scenes which bring my friends and I to this. Which is why we roleplay them as a couple. xD

Whoa. I didn't understand what was happening until the last line. It's pretty deep. Painful to read.

Very nicely written. I love Death Note in the fact that it's impossible for me to actually dislike any one character and Misa was a character that I quickly dismissed as the usual, attention-grabbing Sue that tends to ruin a series.

She didn't. And I think you've captured her character well and provided a very believable and even probable one-shot in description to what she may've been thinking as her last stand in the final episode. Cheers, and this is very good work.

I like the LMisa pairing because I think it allows for a different, and edgy exploration of the two personalities. Of the many that I've read, only a few have caught my eye-- usually they're too sappy, or too OOC, or simply improbable because no way, L and Misa would never find themselves in THAT kind of situation.

But there's just something about this fic that really stood out at me. First of all, I commend you on Misa's voice in this fic. It stands out well, and paints a really clear, direct picture in my mind. Secondly, I like how you give Misa depth by including shades of emotion, not only one. Some writers oversimplify the depth of Misa's obsession with Light once they put Misa and L together, but handled the balance wonderfully. As well, the progression of the story, and general descriptions of L, were very well done.

Great story! This is definitely up there on my list of well-liked LMisa fics. Keep writing!
