i love your rendition of bellatrix. it's not so difficult to see how a naive girl, strong in her own way, was coerced into serving voldemort. sirius - this whole new side of him - is believable, i always thought there was more to his character than his gryffindor half-charade. their unique relationship is touching & complex, and thoroughly enjoyable.

Oh, I really like it. Particularly the last line.
