Thank you for that wonderful chapter. Wow! Komui's first interaction with his team! Anou... If I remember correctly the first general that the Noah killed was a priest? Or something like it cuz I think I remember him wearing priest-ly looking clothes. Though this isn't really important. =p

Anyway, I'll be looking forward to the future chapters.

My favorite thing about this chapter was definitely the characterization, even (and especially) of the side characters, like Johnny and the others, and Tiedoll (and by extension, what we heard of Kanda).

*sigh* Poor Lenalee, poor dead kids, poor Finders... It seems like everything the Order touches is eventually destroyed. It's sad how the organization that's supposed to save the world seems hardly better than the Earl's gang. Perhaps even worse, in a way, since the Black Order claims to be the righteous ones. I love how your writing inspires so much moral conflict in my mind - or maybe I'm just feeling uncharacteristically philosophical. xD; I'm going to be a stuck record and reiterate once again how much I love your characterization and writing style.

Aww, I love seeing Komui slowly beginning to relate to people again! Tiedoll is like a breath of sanity and kindness in this hellish place. And Johnny is cute. x3 Is the Australian guy Reever? o.O I can't remember; it's been forever since I reread the manga. Well, I'm certainly interested in where this is going...Aussie Dude probably has some mysterious backstory too, knowing you. xD

So, some grammar stuff: "baited breath" - It's "bated", not "baited". And the paragraph beginning with "“Lenalee…” he raised an eyebrow." There are some capitalization problems in that paragraph; you didn't capitalize "she" and it was rather confusing when I first read it through. But they're just technical errors, nothing too serious.

As always, loved the chapter and can't wait for the next one.

Yes!! I have been searching for a story like this about Komui and I'm so glad to have found it! :) He's my absolute favorite character and I wish we knew more about his background, and here it is! ^_^ I can't wait to read more!

I knew it'd be Tiedoll! For a second I thought we'd meet Cross and Allen but that didn't seem likely because 1. the General was being too nice and 2. why in the world would Cross be at the Order? LoL. Yu's so feisty. Lmao. Man, I can see how Komui feels... It sucks to find someone you've been looking for and hoping you could make them happy when someone else walks in and just does it with ease... I like how you wrote this. You always mix up what happened in the manga in a such an amazing way. ^__^

We! An update! And a reunion between the siblings! And Kanda appeared too! Cute temperamental little Kanda.

Aw, poor Lenalee, well your idea of Komui being the one starting the... Uhhm.. routine check up of the innocence. Sorry my brain's kinda dead right now. Well, I've noticed that this chapter is lighter than the previous ones perhaps because the siblings have finally reunited. Not that I'm complaining or anything. I'm looking forward on how you would interpret Komui now that he's with Lenalee again. If you'll stick with your serious Komui from the earlier chapters or would you change him to be something like the current Komui of the series. Well, now that I think about it you'd probably lean more to the canon Komui, superficially silly and an evil genius. What with you already leaving a clue that he had made a robot farting lemon something. And the fact that Tiedoll is a jovial fellow and Lenalee is totally at ease with him Komui would surely follow his lead just to make Lenalee be a lot closer to him. But if you think of otherwise, its your call anyway I'm just a reviewer who babbles too much and loses control of her incoherent thoughts too often. I would still look forward to your story and try to give a review/babble when I could.

Btw, at this point of your story, did Lenalee and Petrova's creepy kid have already met? Or is that still to happen here?

Even though I've liked the whole story so far, this chapter is totally my favorite!

This was one of my favorite scenes in the manga, so when I read that it was going to be in this chapter I had to read the whole thing right away. (I think you stayed pretty close to the original story, by the way.) I could really see how Komui's personality had come together at this point, and I'm so happy that he's finally able to meet Lenalee again, though at the description of her poor feet I was like "Wait...this is not cute...THIS IS NOT CUTE!! WHERE'S THE HEARTWARMING REUNION SCENE?" O^O Not to say that it wasn't a good idea though, in fact it was very interesting to consider the drawbacks of Lenalee's Innocence. The morbidly interesting insights into the original storyline are what I look forward to from you, and overall this chapter was still much better to Komui and Lenalee then the rest of the story has been. :3

Not to mention that I am also a semi-rabid Kanda fan, so his and Tiedoll's appearances were just icing on the cake. XD

Marvelous! The shocking reunion was simply amazing, and you seem to have Teidoll down to a T. I simply can't find anything to complain about. I loved it, and I really wish you to update again in the near future.

I much prefer your version of Komui and Lenalee's meeting to the actual. It fits much better with the darkness of your story. *wince* Oh, those poor, poor kids...
