Thundercracker, Wheeljack, hot rod, bluestreak, mirage, hound, soundwave, first aid, red alert. The medics aren't real medic, right? so that means first aid and red alert aren't them. if hot rod is there, he most likely will be another commander instead of just a normal member. will there be OC for the members?

I like the tension between Ironhide and Sunny. I am guessing who hasn't come to earth yet, Wheeljack is one and Sideswipe is another. Have no guesses for the rest. And is Skywarp crushing on Ratchet? That would be funny. Good job.
Dwimordene 2008-06-16 ch 3,	abuseLots of traffic in this chapter! We get to see rotating groups of people interacting here, undoubtedly in order to set up that 'reliable group dynamic' for the reader, who may begin to see the blocky, basic outlines of relationships and their limits. Just how xenophobic is Sunstreaker, for example, seems to be a big one; how do the humans relate to each other (which was kind of overlooked with the exception of Mikaela and Sam, and then Sam and his family) and how do they relate across the common bond of knowing giant alien robots? Who is Sunstreaker obeying under threat of death? Who's bonded with who? It's a little like a big, intergalactic game of "Who drinks water? Who owns the zebra?" Except I don't have to do the work to find out, just wait for updates! The Prowl-Sidetrack relationship, and especially Sidetrack's command style seems to be given space in this chapter less in order to settle the basics (we got that already), but in order to use it as a way of getting at the different command-group dynamics in Prime's group and in the Prowl/Sidetrack group, and to suggest, too, general ways in which Cybertronian military personnel organize themselves. Despite the emphasis on Prime and on the captain-figure, they seem to have fewer vertical distinctions, and to take a more 'horizontal', skill-based approached. Or at least, that's what seems to be suggested. Either that, or both groups are just way too small to sustain a more elaborate hierarchy, with all those finer gradations of rank. My guess is that Sarah Lennox will be the lens for doing psychological comparisons from here on out, or at least, where there's a need for a little more sophisticated exposition than one could expect from a pair of teenagers. Huzzah for finding a useful narrative role for the bit female character! I'm guessing she'll be the first to pick up on what seems to be a developing Skywarp-Ratchet relationship - whether you're aiming for something more than the bizarre friendship of people who probably wouldn't be able to stand each other, usually, or for something more along the lines of 'bonding' in the closest sense (or one of the closer ones) isn't clear at this point, but the reactions of Skywarp and others are making me suspect we're aiming for some sort of close bonding. I'm guessing at some point she'll ask questions that will put her at risk of two ornery tempers with 'intimacy issues', as it were. There were a couple of points where I think you might have intended one word and then swapped another in by accident. These two in particular stood out: “Thank heaven for small virtues indeed,” Sarah replied. - "Thank heaven for small favors/mercies"? “We’re very close to faction being irrelevant, yes,” Sidetrack responded, uncharacteristically serious. “Probably not as close as we’d like to think we are, but still very close. –You probably won’t get the chance to get a full and accurate sense of our team dynamic, because my personal guess is that, rather than the Autobots on the team starting to re-identify as Autobots, and the Decepticons as Decepticons, now that we’re back in more normal society, we’re more likely to cling even more tightly to the bonds we’ve wrought within the team. I hope so, certainly—with the alien threat, we need every advantage we can get, and a reliable team dynamic is definitely an advantage.” - When Sidetrack says "You probably won't get the chance to get a full and accurate sense of our team dynamic", I expect the explanation to tell me why the humans won't see it in full. But what follows seems to suggest that said group dynamic will most likely be adhered to all the more vehemently, so it's unclear why human allies and friends (if that latter ever happens) wouldn't have a front row seat where the Decept-obot unit's group dynamic is concerned. Looking forward to more!

Bluebird Soaring 2008-06-15 ch 3,	abuseBetween Jazz and Sidetrack, I'm amazed that Prowl's processor doesn't crash every few minutes =) Sidetrack continues to be a very interesting character (southern charm, leadership skills yet a bit of a troublemaker and not big on rules)who must have just about driven Prowl nuts back in the caves. And "fogetting" there are 9 of them before telling the humans...priceless =) Sounds like Sideswipe is there too...I'm hoping for Wheeljack (self taught field medic?) just because I love him too much not to hope for him, esp since Ratchet needs someone to bug him =) Ironhide lurking around following the nonCons and Sunny, who isn't a big fan of humans either. Skywarp is growing on me, esp when he tries to help with the humans and likes watching the baby...and he's smart enough to know Ratchet is scary! LOL. Another chapter that is well worth the wait, and I went back to reread the first 2 chappies so I didn't miss anything. Very curious to see who else is coming on Prowl's team. And the bit at the end with Prowl trying to get "insight" from Jazz was funny beyond words =)MORE!

SkyHighFan 2008-05-07 ch 2,	abuseI like it. On Stargate Atlantis they dealt with a similar threat: a race so advanced and powerful that they SCARED the Wraith an extremly powerful and evil race that had basicaly ruled the galaxy the show took place in for thousands of years. During the show one of the main charchters and a Wraith (he later named him Todd, he had a habit of naming Wraith) were held prisoner together. The two broke out together making a deal to work together despite being enemies until they got to saftey and then they'd go their seperate ways but if they ever met again all bets were off. They learned a lot about each and learned that they were more alike then they wanted to admit and seemed to almost become friends. This Wraith showed honor while most had none. In the end they defeated their captors and the human'a friends showed up. He shot Todd, but just stunned him and kept their deal by dropping him off on another planet to be found by his people. The two said goodbye and said next time all bets were off and it was clear neither wanted to meet again due to that. Later Todd approached the team for help against this terrible enemy and willingly became their prisoner to try to help. Eventually a plan was devised and two of Earth's powerful ships (we had 3 at the time: the Daedalus, the Odyssey and the Apollo, the Daedalus and the Apollo were the ones who showed up while the Odyssey was left to protect Earth) came to implement it. We needed more ships so we made a deal with the Wraith because this was such a terrible foe we needed as much help as we could get to defeat them and they commited 7 ships. Another set of allies who commited 5 ships were gathered and the combined fleet launched a massive attack on the alien homeworld. The Daedalus and the Apollo had managed to force the alien fleet to retreat there previously and it had them all in one spot. It was a massive battle and although we were outnumered (we had 14 ships they had over 30) we were able to hold our own with the loss of only two ships total over the course of the battle while the enemy took heavy losses. Ultimatly the plan they came up with was enacted and the alien species was apparently wiped out when their planet was blown up with them on it. It later turned out that a rouge faction of them with unknown motives survived, but there's hope that they have good intentions as their leader is a former main charchter who sacrificed herself to help her friends escape and apparently somehow survived despite being captured (the others barley got away and only did that thanks to a timely and surprising appearence by the Apollo which layed down cover fire for them to escape)

Good Job on this and i can't wait for the update. damn it all if i don't talk to much.
Tatsumaki-sama 2008-04-23 ch 2,	abuseWow! Simply wow! This is really interesting and getting all the more interesting with each passing chapter. I liked how you pointed out the many factors in war that soldiers like the Autobots, have to deal with, such as genocide, traitors and helping wounded enemies despite what comrades might say afterwards. Your portrayals of the Autobots (Jazz and Ironhide got me cracking up and poor Optimus dealing with this new problem) and Decepticons (Sunstreaker is a traitor!?!?!?!) are very well-written and simply amazing. I just can't wait for the next chapter.

Riana1 2008-01-27 ch 2,	abuseI really am praying that Sides is somewhere safe because Sunny by himself and without his twin is too scary to imagine. Though the idea of Maggie, Mikaela or Sarah Lennox handing him is too funny for words. I like the obvious trust issues that need to be worked out here and the threat you have bearing down. It makes for great character interaction. On the Con/Bot front, one of the humans needs to point out they were one people once and frankly their are too frigging few of them /left/ to be squabbling.
